Cadet Chain of Command

        FL-20081 Cadet Wing                              Commander:
                       C/Col
          Matthew Mortimore

                                     Duties Include: 
​

A. Overall management and execution of all Wing activities.
 B. The appearance, discipline, efficiency, training, and conduct of the Wing
 C. All Wing activities, facilities, resources, and follow up checks of assigned activities
D. Ensures all cadets have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.
 E. Delegates responsibilities to subordinate cadets to provide leadership opportunities and spread the workload of the Cadet Corps, without releasing ultimate responsibility for execution. 
F. Establishes, tracks, and executes unit goals.
G. Leads Staff Flight activities to include planning and reporting requirements

       Cadet Vice Wing Commander:
        C/Lt Col Amanda Huntington

                                                  Duties Include: 
​

A. Takes charge in the absence of the Cadet Wing/CC.
B. Manages the Continuity Book process by ensuring all Cadet Staff and Team Commanders maintain Continuity                      Books in compliance with Wing standards.
C. Manages and tracks the Unit Awards Process throughout the academic year
.

                                    Duties Include:
​

​A. All tasks assigned by the Cadet Wing/CC.
B. Schedules and coordinates all activities for the Cadet Group that are not purely community service or fall within the purview of Special Teams. For community service events, the Ops Officer validates scheduling and coordinating activities undertaken by the OIC for Community Service.     
C. Manages records and files of all activities after completion.
D. Oversees after-action assessments for all activities.
E. Creates and publishes written Corps-Wide orders directed by the SASI.
F. Manages WINGS entry for corps-wide events, promotions & awards.                                                                                                G. Oversees calculation and awarding of Honor Flight each quarter

                                   Duties Include:

A. Oversees all AFJROTC teams and team commanders.
B. Ensures all team commanders adhere to policy for WINGS entries.
C. Travel with and supervise team competitions.
​D. Oversees the development and cadet recognition programs for all teams.

                                       Duties Include:
​

A. Enforces all policies set forth in this Cadet Guide.
B. Acts as liaison between the corps and wing staff; investigates cadet issues/problems.
C. Manages personnel file process for all cadet required paperwork.
D. Manages all aspects of the Honor Board process in coordination with the SASI/ASIs.
E. Oversees annual self-inspection activities.
F. Manages all aspects of the cadet uniform inspection process. This includes ensuring Flt/CCs and Flt/Sgts understand assessment procedures and forms and tracking cadets who 22 risk violating the “more than 5 uniform misses” policy to provide warnings ahead of violations of the policy.
​G. Prepares, amends, and maintains all cadet promotion processes.
H. Guides and mentors the esprit-de-corps and professionalism of the Cadet Wing.

                                Duties Include:
​

A. Assists the ASI with the issuance of cadet uniform items and WINGS logistics data.
B. Creates and maintains accurate uniform issue hand receipts for all cadets.
C. Maintains cleanliness of the supply room.
D. Conducts uniform and equipment inventories.
E. Safeguards all Air Force property and equipment in the supply room

                        Community Service OIC
​                           C/Lt Col Geraldine Guzman
                                Duties Include:
​

A. Coordinates all corps-wide community service activities. This does not include community service that falls under specific LDR activities and team commanders (for example, the Color Guard Commander would oversee a Color Guard event at a local civic organization).
B. Where appropriate, designates other cadets as project leads for community service events.
C. Ensures community service activities are entered into WINGS.
​D. Coordinates with the Operations Officer to ensure all activities are covered and designated as community service or otherwise.​

                              Public Affairs OIC
​                            C/1 Lt Colby Santos 
                                Duties Include:
​

A. Establishes an active public affairs program.
B. Submits news articles to the school district and local media concerning cadet activities.
C. Acts as the sole owner of the FL-20081 website. This includes ensuring the site is current, accurate, and relevant in all aspects.
​D. Ensures there is a plan to capture photographs and/or video from all cadet corps activities that can accompany news articles or archived for presentations. ​

                            Physical Fitness OIC

                                  Duties Include:
​

A. Coordinates with the SASI/ASI to plan PT activities for all Wellness Training dates as part of the AFJROTC curriculum.
B. Manages both the Initial and Final PT Assessment process and tracking products for the cadet corps, to include score input into WINGS.
C. Designates a PT leader for each flight. Mentors PT leaders. D. Plans and leads “sports day” events.

                                                                                       Duties Include:

A. Coordinates with feeder school(s) concerning annual cadet recruiting drives.
B. Obtains date of visit, location of the visit, time of day of the visit.
C. Coordinates with all military recruiters to facilitate cadet corps interactions and secures recruiting supplies (pencils, pens, folders, etc.) from military recruiters.
D. Oversees all APT activities.
E. Oversees all Freshman Orientation events.​
