Treasure Coast High School AFJROTC has been awarded the Distinguished Unit Award every year of its existence as an organization. Founded in 2008, FL- 20081 cadets average a total of over 3,000 hours of service to our local community per school year. Some of the organizations we are able to support and activities are highlighted below. Our cadets have willing hearts and are dedicated to taking action to improve our local community here on the Treasure Coast by serving our community and it's members. Many cadets easily reach the 100 hour requirement for a bright futures scholarship during their tenure as a cadet in our corps.

Ways We Serve Our Community

FOLDS OF HONOR CHICAGO GALA 2023

The Treasure Coast AFJROTC, POW/MIA Honor Guard was asked to travel to Chicago this past summer by the Folds of Honor National Organization for their Gala held in the Aon Grand Ballroom at the Navy Pier. Folds of Honor raises money as a non-profit organization providing thousands of scholarships each year to children of wounded and fallen service members and first responders. While in Chicago the team got the opportunity to take in the sites of Chicago as well as performing a special Tribute to our nation’s flag, a salute to the armed services and a Prisoner of War/ Missing in Action Tribute ceremony. The cadets were heralded for their dedication, precision, and professionalism as they represented Treasure Coast AFJROTC, The St Lucie School District, and the U.S. Air Force on a national stage.

Beach Clean up

As cadets in Treasure Coast High School’s AFJROTC unit, we’re committed to serving our community and leading by example. One of the ways we make an impact is through our regular beach clean-ups along the Treasure Coast. Working together, we take pride in protecting our shoreline, promoting environmental awareness, and demonstrating the core values we live by every day.
